I am glad to see you here. The pages you are about to view belong to the "Vechnost" kennel, which was registered by the FCI in 1997, although it's history starts earlier - in 1993. The previous name was "West Star", and that was one of the most famous kennel names in Russia. Unfortunately, before 1997 Russia was not a member of FCI, and that made all of the foreign contacts difficult, it also made it impossible for us to show our dogs anywhere or gain international titles. That was a sad time, but now Russia is an associated member of FCI and all of those problems are, finally, forgotten.

The Vechnost Kennel is as well registered by RKF (Russian Kennel Club) and National Afghan Breeders Club. At this moment 83 (21 males, 62 bitches ) dogs belong to the kennel. Some of those dogs are beloved pets and will never be used in our breeding program, but also we have our stars, dogs of very good quality, who were "born for the show ring".

You can see our Afghans at various shows, from small local events to European and World Dog shows. In the year 2004, for example, our dogs entered more than 40 different shows, and most of them were successful for us. Vechnost is definitely the most "titled" Afghan kennel in Russia, having 65 National Ch. Titles of different countries, including Belgium, Luxembourg, Israel, Romania, Bulgaria etc. 72 of our dogs are Russian Champions. Our many main stars are International Champions. The award willing ability of "Best Kennel" and "Best Pair" awards is now beyond my ability to calculate.

But, of course, it does not mean that my dogs are perfect. A perfect dog is something, that you are always aiming to achieve, which is a constant "work in progress",that never stops. In the last year we have whelped 3 litters, and just a few days before this article was written we received one more pleasant news - one of the puppies born in our last litter gained title "best puppy"  at Sochi. So, the life goes on, and on, and on…
